CheapLLM ("we", "us", or "our") operates cheapllm.io and provides an AI API proxy service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using our service, you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:

• Account information: your email address at registration
• Usage records: timestamp, model, token counts, cost, IP address, and User-Agent for each API request
• Payment records: top-up amount and timestamp (we do not store payment card or bank account details)

We do not collect or store the content of your API requests (prompts) or AI responses.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the service
• To calculate token usage and deduct account credits
• To comply with lawful requests from law enforcement or regulatory authorities
• To send account-related notifications (low balance alerts, service updates)

4. Data Storage and Security

• Account and usage data is stored on Supabase (SOC 2 compliant, Singapore region)
• Cache data is stored on Upstash Redis (Singapore region)
• API keys are stored as SHA-256 hashes and cannot be reversed
• All data is transmitted over HTTPS
• Usage records are retained for 90 days; account data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion request

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share it only in these cases:

• When required by law or lawful order from authorities
• With our infrastructure providers (Supabase, Upstash) solely to operate the service, subject to their own privacy policies

• Request deletion of your account and associated data
