Terms of Service

1. Service Description

CheapLLM (cheapllm.io) provides an AI API proxy service that forwards your API requests to upstream providers such as Anthropic (Claude) and DeepSeek. We act as a technical intermediary and are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or content of any AI-generated output.

Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to register and use this service. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use this platform for:

• Generating or distributing illegal, harmful, or fraudulent content
• Spam, scraping, credential stuffing, or other automated abuse
• Infringing on third-party copyrights, privacy rights, or intellectual property
• Any use that violates the upstream providers' terms of service (Anthropic, DeepSeek)
• Any use that violates applicable laws or regulations

3. Upstream Service Disclaimer

This platform relies on upstream API services (Anthropic, DeepSeek). We are not liable and will not issue refunds for service disruptions caused by:

• Upstream API key bans or account suspensions
• Upstream outages, rate limiting, latency, or unavailability
• Changes to upstream pricing, model capabilities, or API specifications

We maintain redundant keys and failover mechanisms to maximize availability.

4. Credits and Payments

• Credits are prepaid and non-refundable except as stated in our Refund Policy
• Account credits do not earn interest
• Credits in accounts banned for Terms of Service violations will not be refunded
• Deductions are based on actual token usage at request completion; due to caching, there may be up to a 30-second delay, and minor overages may be deducted from future balance

5. Account Security

• You are responsible for keeping your API keys confidential
• We are not liable for balance losses resulting from leaked API keys
• If you suspect a key has been compromised, disable it immediately in the dashboard

6. Compliance and Law Enforcement

We retain request metadata (IP address, timestamp, API key identifier). We will disclose this information to law enforcement or regulatory authorities when required by law. Do not use this platform for any illegal activity.

7. Service Changes and Termination

We reserve the right to modify pricing, features, or terminate the service at any time, with reasonable advance notice where possible. If the platform shuts down, we will announce how remaining credits will be handled.

8. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the service shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation; if unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) for final resolution by arbitration under its rules.

9. Updates to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or platform announcement.
